Privacy Policy

This privacy notice explains how Rioa ("we" / "us") collects, uses, and discloses information gathered through our website and digital platforms (the "Platforms") as well as during any interactions with you. We may also collect, use, and disclose information in accordance with applicable laws, unless otherwise prohibited.

1. What Information do we collect?

We may collect personal information about you, which includes your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, order details, payment information, and information related to your usage of our services, including your device.

Information Collection: The types of information we collect include:

  • Information you provide directly: This includes details provided through account registration, submitting an online form, or requesting information, surveys, or applications via the Platforms.

  • Information from interactions: This covers data from any correspondence or discussions you have with us.

  • Transaction data: Information regarding transactions and interactions with the Platforms.

  • Tracking your usage: We gather data on how you interact with the Platforms, including the content you access, services you use, and other details collected through automated technologies.

You may also post or submit information on public areas of the Platforms, or send it to other users or third parties. Such contributions ("User Contributions") are made at your own risk, as others may access and use your information. We do not control the actions of other users who may view or interact with your contributions.

2. Consequences of not providing information

While you are not required to provide personal information, please note that failure to do so may limit your ability to access the Platforms or use certain features or services available through our site.

3. Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you interact with the Platforms, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your device, browsing behaviour, and patterns. Some of this data may be linked to you personally, which helps us improve our services and understand user needs. Examples of such data include:

  • Website traffic and usage data: Information about the pages you visit, resources accessed, and time spent on each page.

  • Device-related information: This includes details such as your IP address, operating system, browser type, and device specifications.

  • Location data: If you enable location-based services, we may collect location data through GPS, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth to deliver content and advertisements tailored to your location.

We use various tools for automatic data collection, including log files, cookies, and other tracking technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help identify it and can store details such as your browsing history, search preferences, and login information, if enabled. Cookies allow us to personalize your experience, improve functionality, and display advertisements relevant to your interests. Disabling cookies may limit your ability to access certain features of the Platforms, but you can choose to reject or delete them via your browser settings.

Please note that we do not change our data collection practices in response to a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

4. Other Tracking Technologies

We may also engage in advertising through various platforms, including social media and other external websites and mobile apps. To track the performance of our advertising and better understand how users engage with the Platforms, we may collect information through third-party service providers. These tools—such as cookies, web beacons, and other Device Data Collection Tools (DDCTs)—help us gather details like:

  • IP addresses and page views

  • Referring search engine or website URLs

  • Browsing activity across websites

  • Responses to ads or promotions

These tracking technologies provide valuable insights into user behaviour, allowing us to improve our advertising and content strategies.

Social Media Ads and Data Collection

We occasionally use Social Media Ads to promote our products and Platforms. By interacting with our Platforms through Social Media, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Our Platforms use Device Data Collection Tools (DDCTs) operated by the Social Media Platforms to gather information on how users engage with our Platforms.

  2. The information the Social Media Platforms collect may include your IP address, country, language, browser or app used, and actions you take on our Platforms, such as purchases, when engaging with our Social Media ads. Some of this data may be linked to you personally.

  3. This data is used to measure ad performance and to target advertisements.

  4. Information collected by the Social Medias Platforms may be stored on servers and the Social Media Platforms may not always be required to protect your data in a manner that meets the standards of the Privacy Act 2020.

  5. You can opt out of the collection and use of your information for ad targeting by using an ad blocker or enabling your browser's ad-blocking feature.

  6. By continuing to use our Platforms without opting out, you consent to the disclosure of your information to the Social Media Platforms.

Social Media and APIs

Our Platforms may include social media features like the Facebook "Like" button, Twitter widgets, and share buttons. These features may collect your IP address, track the pages you visit on our site, and how long you stay on them. If you are a member of a social media site, these features may link your social media account to your activities on our site.

Social media features may be hosted by a third party or directly on our Platforms. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy notice of the third-party provider, and we do not assume responsibility for their actions.

Additionally, we may offer an Application Programming Interface (API) that enables third-party applications to interact with our Platforms. If you allow an application to connect to your account, including via third-party social media platforms, the application will be able to access information visible to you when logged in. Ensure that you trust any application before granting access to your account. By using an API with a third-party social media platform, you consent to our use of your information from that platform.
