This refund policy does not limit or exclude your rights as a consumer under applicable laws (including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993), except where permitted by law. At Rioa, we want to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for you. Adverse Reactions
If you experience an adverse reaction to one of our products, please email us with details and photos. Your skin health is our top priority, and we have a thorough quality control system in place. We always recommend patch-testing products 24 hours before first use.

Damaged Items / Incorrect Orders
If your product is damaged during delivery or if you received the wrong items, please contact us by email within 24 hours of receiving your order. Be sure to include your order number in the subject line. We’ll guide you on whether you need to return the items for inspection.

Christmas Gift Returns
We understand that it can be difficult to check orders promptly during the holiday season. If there’s an issue with a Christmas order, please get in touch with us in January.

Returns Process

Unless you are making a claim under applicable consumer protection laws where we cannot limit or exclude:

  • You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

For returns over $80, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure the return is received safely.

Refund Process
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome—whether your refund request is approved or denied.

If your refund is approved, the amount will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method or credit card.

Where’s My Refund?
